Pensacola Little Theater has been entertaining the Pensacola, FL community with plays since the 1930s. With many plays come many advertisements; as seen by these banners which were produced by Pensacola Sign and Graphics, Inc. The banners Pensacola Sign made were designed to work with a banner hanging system. Instead of being made from traditional 13oz. vinyl the signs were made with a 3mil aluminum composite material. The composite was used to increase the banners’ visibility and longevity. The Pensacola Little Theater’s banners are an excellent example of how custom banners can be made to fit with any type of hanging system.

Extreme Makeover Home Edition contacted Pensacola Sign and Graphics, Inc. to see if we would be willing to produce the vinyl graphics for the Tron room (A room that was themed on the 2010 movie called Tron). Of course we were willing to help! The Tron room was made using a premium translucent vinyl for lighted panel applications. The graphics were applied to clear acrylic panels which were backlit to create a lighted 3-D Tron atmosphere. The following pictures provide a snapshot of the process we took to create the custom light wall graphics.
Once the graphic images were provided we were able to begin the printing process.
After printing the images we wanted to laminate the vinyl to increase the longevity of the signage.
The vinyl material needed to be applied to a 4x8 foot acrylic panel. Before applying the graphics, it was important to wipe down the acrylic to prevent any bubbles from forming due to dirt and dust.
Once the surface was wiped down we applied the graphics very carefully to the acrylic.
After trimming the excess of the print-out the custom wrapped acrylic wall was ready to be taken to the Tron room and installed.
There were more than a dozen acrylic panels that were created for the Tron room. This is just an example of one panel that was produced by Pensacola Sign.
The episode aired on ABC TV December 12, 2010 and can be viewed by following the provided link. Gaston Extreme Makeover Home Edition

Boise Cascade is a national wood product and building material distributor. To help increase brand awareness, Boise Cascade contracted Pensacola Sign and Graphics, Inc. to design and install a wrap for their company trailer. The full color graphics on the sides and front of the trailer serve as a portable billboard for some of the products offered by Boise Cascade. The back of the trailer is dedicated to recognizing the other companies that are affiliated with them. This trailer is an excellent example of how a company can use a full vehicle wrap to increase brand awareness while calling attention to partnered businesses at the same time.

9th Ave. Office Plaza, with five separate office facilities, provides a number of office spaces for rent. The entrance to the complex needed to have a directional system that could easily be changed as new tenants come and go. Pensacola Sign and Graphics, Inc. was tasked with creating just such a system. The wayfinding directory was created using varying sizes of aluminum composite and full color laminated and printed graphics. The main entrance directory uses vinyl decals which display tenant name and location. These vinyl decals are inexpensive and extremely easy to apply and remove. As new tenants come in a decal is ordered and applied. As tenants leave the decal is easily removed and replaced. The 9th Ave. Office Plaza certainly takes full advantage of the easily customizable directional system.

Energy Services of Pensacola (ESP) was invited to setup a display that showcases the benefits and uses of natural gas. The display [designed by EW Bullock Associates ], which is setup at Ferguson Bath, Kitchen, and Lighting Gallery, needed to be full color digitally printed with dimensional lettering. Pensacola Sign and Graphics, Inc. created the exhibit using PVC materials for the lettering and to add a three dimensional look to the sign. The dimensional lettering was used to highlight the text and emphasize the message. PVC was also used to create the arch around the top and bottom of the display. Dimensional letters are used for wayfinding, directionals, corporate branding, and have a number of other uses. They are available in a wide variety of materials and can display logos and text in almost every size or color. Using dimensional lettering is an excellent way to add depth and creativity to your P.O.P. display.
