Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union in Pensacola has been a client of ours for several years. We were more than thrilled for them when they opened their new bank located in Tallahassee, FL. However, we were even more excited when they asked Pensacola Sign to help with their corporate branding for the entire facility! To update the existing building, we used “etched” window graphic and lettering to create a frosted look on their windows, added wall murals from high quality, digitally printed vinyl mural, and a color-popping corporate identity sign with dimensional lettering that greets you at the entryway.

We all know the feeling of looking for a bathroom in a crowded restaurant and not being able to find it. All the doors in the place look the same, and there are no graphics telling you where to go! That is why World of Beer asked Pensacola Sign to digitally print two full-color wraps. Only, these are not vehicle wraps, but door wraps! Printed on premium vinyl, the same as our car wraps, these non-traditional door wraps are the perfect way to put full-color graphics on a door to help direct you to the restrooms. Since they are created in the same way as our vehicle wraps they are durable enough for use in high-traffic areas. And what area could have more traffic in a beer establishment than a restroom?

Flight Deck, the Naval Aviation Museum’s gift shop, wanted to have a customer thank you wall mural over the entrance/exit of the museum’s souvenir shop. Pensacola Sign and Graphics, Inc. was contracted to create the mural using full color digitally printed graphic material. The mural was designed to showcase a few products offered by the gift shop and to inform visitors of the Flight Deck’s online store. Murals like this one are made using certified 3M materials and are generally laminated to ensure a long lasting quality mural. There are many murals Pensacola Sign has created, but this one is a great example of how a mural can give a farewell message that encourages increased online sales.

Before coming to Pensacola, FL in October, 2010 the Extreme Makeover Home Edition contacted Pensacola Sign and Graphics, Inc. to see if we would be willing to produce the vinyl graphics for the Tron room (A room that was themed on the 2010 movie called Tron). Of course we were willing to help! The Tron room was made using a premium translucent vinyl for lighted panel applications. The graphics were applied to clear acrylic panels which were backlit to create a lighted 3-D Tron atmosphere. The following pictures provide a snapshot of the process we took to create the custom light wall graphics.

Once the graphic images were provided we were able to begin the printing process.
After printing the images we wanted to laminate the vinyl to increase the longevity of the signage.
The vinyl material needed to be applied to a 4x8 foot acrylic panel. Before applying the graphics, it was important to wipe down the acrylic to prevent any bubbles from forming due to dirt and dust.
Once the surface was wiped down we applied the graphics very carefully to the acrylic.
After trimming the excess of the print-out the custom wrapped acrylic wall was ready to be taken to the Tron room and installed.
There were more than a dozen acrylic panels that were created for the Tron room. This is just an example of one panel that was produced by Pensacola Sign.

Some digitally printed graphics are removable and reusable but most wall murals are long term and more permanent. Any conceivable size is available in wall murals with no limit to what design can be used. Gulf Winds has used local hometown images to underscore the fact that they are a local financial institution and people notice.

Unlike most credit unions and banks, Gulf Winds offers an excellent waiting area for children. Gulf Winds contracted Pensacola Sign and Graphics, Inc. to create an attractive and humorous wall mural for the children’s waiting area. The digitally printed wall mural was made with premium vinyl with a protective over-laminate. Vinyl wall-coverings can be applied to just about any size wall imaginable. These murals create brand awareness and are highly durable using waterproof solvent inks. Wall murals and can even be applied to unique television casings like the one seen in this photo. Take a look at these beautiful digitally printed wall murals we produced and installed for Cordova Mall. We are very proud of this impressive marketing event. Craig Granger over at Baptist Marketing did the tasteful but effective layout for the wall wrap above the center court in the mall. Each of the wall murals measured 4ft. by 65ft. for a combined length of 130ft.! Wall murals like these can be used for corporate office lobbies, inside retail stores, and even temporary installations for trade shows and events.
